WW & HNT: Memorable Wantonness
on 2011/11/09 at 00:00I have several Dragon De-scalings lined up for posting, but I just had to break rank for this one…
I mentioned on Sunday that I had gone to see my sister for the day and that we had got up to all kinds of mischief!! which you’ll keep seeing bits and piece of all this month
Today’s bit is what we did for the Scavenger Hunt… yes, I have spread the fever on! I asked for her help to get a shot that required a speedy helper rather than a timer, as it would be broad daylight at a public monument (though somehow I remembered it as being more secluded in my youth, I was shocked at just how open it was!).
We approached the monument by a back road, but when we parked I realised we needn’t have bothered. The monument could easily be seen from the main road and there was a large apartment complex nearby. Someone else was parked in the parking lot, and there was someone parked behind the monument fiddling with a bicycle. I almost turned around right then, unnerved, but after a few giggles we decided to check the site out to see if there was some way we could carry this off.
Most impressive in real life, even with the snow
So we scouted around a bit and I finally found an angle I thought I could live with. Mind you, I was still freaking at seeing the cars passing by on the main road and wondering how much they could see… never mind that woman doing something with her trunk in the parking lot… and that guy behind the monument… but hey, we were giggling and having fun! Lothie’s first shot was just a little too close-up…
She got it right the next time though!
We also got one for her, after a bit of confusion… the fellow on the bike came around to the front of the monument and was doing some really bizarre posturing, not quite sure what his intent was! We had almost given up and started to move away when he finally took off on the bike! So here’s Lothie:
And so, another successful Dragon De-scaling! and that makes notch #16 on the Scavenger Hunt!
I still have five other sites in queue, three of them brand new categories, so I’ll be back next week with some more public wantonness
Go see who else is being wanton here
And if you miss out on Wednesday, there’s still the opportunity to be Half-Nekkid on Thursday here

That’s totally awesome! Updated the Scavenger Hunt page with your latest conquest
xx Dee
Yaayy! thanks, Dee
At this rate someone is going to have to build a monument to celebrate your scavenging prowess Kazi – Come to think of it, isn’t there a patially descaled stone horny tail down your road?
Aye! too bad I can’t pose partially de-scaled beside it
We saw the Tweet the other day, and we were quite intrigued by it! Great job!
Thank you!! couldn’t help tweeting about it, we were both cracking up after I said it
“Memorable”, “mischief” and “wanton” are not three words I ever saw being used together…well, until now. Wow…
Stranded
Heh… you can count on me for putting together unlikely combinations and making it work
Brilliant and I can’t believe there is so much snow at this time of year.

Love this! I really want to do this, but I don’t have anyone to take my pictures. So fabulous.
I usually work alone, but it’s nice to have the help from time to time… especially for something this public!!
I missed that tweet–great one! And what fun! As I said, you’ve inspired me to join the Hunt!
I’m pleased that I could inspire/influence another worthy contestant
Great pics, I would love to go do the hunt!
Always happy to inspire others! and it would be nice to have another fellow on the hunt
Flashing flesh in the snow?! You wear the cold very well, you daring girl…
Seems like it was a difficult shot to get but I guess that’s what makes it fun. Well done, Kazi.
You are SO brave! I wish I had the guts to do things like this. Great pic, as always!
Great pics and you are so brave to flash us out in that cold weather…brrrr I just got goose-bumps thinking about that… you know this cali girl is not used to the cold.
