on 2011/11/30 at 00:00It got a mite chilly out on the fire escape, so I ducked into the building for my next target: an elevator. Which also happens to be another un-cracked category on the Scavenger Hunt, amazingly enough!!
Here is the unsuspecting elevator opening to admit the fearless Hunter…

The Hunter gets away unscathed… (despite the fact that I never stopped the elevator nor locked the doors… this particular model is *way* too old for that!! but I timed it well, so that I could cover myself in plenty of time before the doors opened)
So, yet another successful Dragon De-scaling! and that makes notch #19 on the Scavenger Hunt!
I went on to score two more sites later that day, as well as another one more recently, so I’ll be back again next week with more public wantonness

imagine a couple decades ago when you had in those huge department stores elevator boys in small red caps pushing the buttons for you and traveling up and down with you. elevator boy ww, hmmmmmmm……..
I think you might be thinking of hotel bellhops, actually. I remember elevator attendants in department stores and they were always grumpy old men
