The Rules are simple according to the artist:
“Each card is unique but made from the same Collosal Deck
Each card must be decorated or transformed in some way without losing its identity. (You can see the two of spades is a two of spades even after it was made into a mask)
Each card must be left somewhere to be “Picked Up” (I use this term loosely as I have burned cards and also dropped them in the Bay).
Cards may not be either kept or sold by The Player ONLY offered or gifted.
The process of transforming (shuffling) , using (playing) and offering (dealing) the card must be very well documented.”

I announced my participation in the project here and spoke a bit about the art in constructing the project here.  My part of the project is up on the artist’s website here.

It is fitting as I notch my 20th mark in the Scavenger Hunt for Dragon De-scalings that I kick up the bar and ask you all to consider this as a performance piece, kink as art, more than just a flash of skin but a challenge of skills on several levels.

Nine of Hearts

The hand is dealt

Nine hearts beating in perfect synchrony

Beautiful rhythm of life that inspires me

Natural chemical electricity between them, as between us

Pounding on in time

Ninefold

But

If one beat falters and fades, the rest wink out in series

Unable to sustain the rhythm

What then?

The gaping hole is torn

I hold the silent heart in my bloody hand

Searching frantically for some magic to re-start life’s rhythm

A tower of power with joules to spare, with watts to give

To bring me back from the edge of the abyss

I wear the mask of jagged holes where once life pulsed

I cry to the heavens to intercede

I rend my clothes

The energy, the spark generated in that action so near the tower

Jump-starts the passion, re-ignites the flame

Restores the rhythm to my aching hearts, yours and mine

The holes remain but the rhythm of life continues

Ever strong, ever constant

A legacy for all time

So somewhere out there for the taking is the Nine of Hearts… are you game?

Go see who else is being wanton here

And if you miss out on Wednesday, there’s still the opportunity to be Half-Nekkid on Thursday here
