on 2012/02/08 at 00:00The next stop along my scavenging route was a bus yard. This is (another) new category for the Scavenger Hunt and I’ll leave it up to Dee to name/class it, whether it be for an individual bus or the whole lot, and whether it equates with a car yard or is a separate category. 
Now, make no mistake about it, this was a VERY public area. It was in a shopping mall parking lot to be exact. So I constantly had to watch for cars driving past, and time my shots accordingly.
These are very well-made buses, by the way. Just saying.
So I do my regular set-up shot:
Yes, it’s quite cold, and there’s a stiff wind.
Therefore, that with the ‘really public’ factor means this is all you get:

I really wanted to plaster myself in front of a bus though. So I do another set-up shot:
How’s it cookin’, good lookin’?
Damn! a Loomis truck drives by… I have to look really cool, as though I’m just taking artistic shots of school buses. Did I mention this is a very public lot? Yeah, that’s my story and I’m sticking with it…
…until he fades into the background, that is!

Yet another successful Dragon De-scaling! and so that makes notch #29 on the Scavenger Hunt!

Unfortunately it was VERY cold, though the sun was starting to warm things. I was grateful for the mug of coffee I had in the car
