Unfortunately, being in a production this weekend and battling a bad cold did not lend itself to sexy times with a camera! Therefore we’re going with some kinky adventure instead…
Those who don’t follow me regularly may not know that I am on the same Scavenger Hunt that Molly and Dee have posted about on previous Sinful Sundays; I generally do my Dragon De-scaling posts on Wanton Wednesdays.
But this is timely! I’ve been itching to do this since I saw it on the list of suggestions for the Hunt, and after the winter we had last year I figured this would be a cinch to get. And yet… here it is almost Spring and we hadn’t gotten more than a dusting since the freak storm in October!
When the snow finally hit, this series was the last thing on my mind. In the midst of Hell Week, all I could think of was how it would affect the driving back and forth from the theatre. It wasn’t until I was on my way to work Friday morning that I realised that I had the perfect opportunity to pull this off; the tripod was in the back of my car and I always carry the camera with me now for the 365 Project.
So after a busy morning I wandered out to a place I thought would make a great snowfield. I nearly chickened out, though, when I saw the area was quite occupied! I forged ahead though, taking shots along the way, so they would just figure I was a lone loon with a camera.
I managed to wander past all the trucks and men and turned off to locate my little field. Luckily, I was dressed for it with my hiking boots, two scarves and three jackets! I made sure I was out of sight of any trucks before stopping to set up the tripod.
I could sell Red Bull with this pic, couldn’t I?

You could definitely sell Red Bull, but I’m thinking you’d have better luck with the second shot and the mouse-over. I’d buy some, and I don’t even like the stuff.

Hahaha, gladly… though I really can’t complain given that this is the first good bit we’ve had this season!
I don’t know which is more brave, all of the people around or showing yourself in the cold. This has been a “mild” winter; but cold and snowy is still cold and snowy. We’re thinking about joining the scavenger hunt when it gets warmer.
I love the pose! and I want snow, although I suspect I’d be too soft to get naked in it.
