Sinful Sunday: Up on the Roof

I’ve been describing a Scavenger Hunt hiking adventure for the past several weeks on Wanton Wednesday. Here is another recent one I grabbed that has nothing to do with hiking and everything to do with being in the moment…
This is the roof of our screened-in porch as seen from the main bathroom window…
Just for the thrill of it, I decided to climb out one fine afternoon as a fine mist was falling and get some pictures…
If I’m not mistaken, this Dragon De-scaling makes notch #45 on the Scavenger Hunt!

We wish we had a space like that, where we could hang out, enjoy a sunny day – or a rainy one, I guess – and indulge our exhibitionist sides. Alas, we only have a tiny balcony. We make do.
Great shots, and as always excellent job with the Scavenger Hunt!
I too wish I had a place like that, but at the best of times I cannot even be naked inside my living room, as we have huge windows and live in a busy street where everyone can look in. And having the curtains closed during the day will just have the neighbors worried that something is wrong. And our back garden? Just as open to the eyes of the surrounding neighbors. So we make do too.

These are some great shots; especially the last one with the neighbor’s house in the background. We wish we could get out on our roof. It would open up a whole new area for fun (as well as photography).
Having a fear of heights that I do, this is one that I am afraid I could never complete!
