If you missed my latest exposure, it was this past Sunday… and broke up the hike a bit.  I’m almost to the end of this adventure, it’s been quite a run.  I’m undecided whether I’m going to cap off at 50 notches for the Scavenger Hunt or try to keep going.  It’s getting harder to find new places I can do on my own, though there’s still plenty I could do with a partner.

This week finds me beside a moving stream along the hiking trail, another new category for the Scavenger Hunt.  It was deep in the woods still, and I thought I had a relatively good shot at pulling this off fairly quickly.  First I stopped to snap some general shots of the area for set-up and to show that this was actually a stream and not standing water

In the midst of shooting, I suddenly heard voices! it was a veritable horde of schoolchildren led by a couple of adults, and I thanked my lucky stars I had not yet begun to pose!  They stopped to ask me if I knew the area but I just shook my head and waited for them to move on.  It took a while…

I kept my back to them as I set up a shot on a plank across the stream, just so they wouldn’t see anything if they happened to look back…

*clickety-click* for another view :)

Yet another successful Dragon De-scaling! and so that makes notch #46 in another new category on the Scavenger Hunt!

There are two more sites on the trail, so I’ll be back next week with some more public wantonness ;)

Go see who else is being wanton here
