Wanton Wednesday: Trailside Wildlife
on 2012/05/16 at 00:00I’m not quite sure how to categorise this next site for the Scavenger Hunt, so I’ll leave it up to Dee… the sign says trailside museum, but I didn’t go into the building, I just went by the live animal exhibits, so would that classify as zoo?
At any rate, I came out of the woods for this one, it’s nearly the end of this hiking saga.
It’s a fairly small area, with a few live attractions… otters, geese, raptors, a llama and some deer.
There were several groups wandering about, including one really large school group, just about everywhere I turned, and so I wandered around for a bit wondering if I would be able to pull this off. Didn’t want to scar some young’un for life…
I was finally able to tuck myself by a tree in front of one of the enclosures and flash a bit.
In doing so, I managed to escape the eyes of the wandering groups, but I do think this young doe I was standing in front of looks rather traumatised, don’t you?
Yet another successful Dragon De-scaling! and so that makes notch #47 on the Scavenger Hunt!
Still a few more sites “in the can,” so I’ll be back next week with some more public wantonness
Go see who else is being wanton here

Nice job! I wish our local zoo had exhibits (or exhibitionists!) like that!
So risque! I so want in on this scavenger hunt!
Be my guest!! would love to see where you go with it
I think the doe looks more entranced than traumatized… amazing job with finding a new creative place to flash, as always
Bravo. Zoo shots are hard. Especially when you take the pictures yourself like you do.
You sure know how to adventure!
