Wicked Wednesday: For Whom the Bell Tolls
on 2012/06/06 at 00:00For my first Wicked Wednesday, I thought I would indeed be wicked. I’ve done a scavenger notch in a church before, but I decided to ratchet up the fun and climb into the bell tower, which I do believe would qualify as a separate category
This was a fascinating place to climb into, with so much history. I know this was a haven for bats at one time, but as the bells recently received a lot of attention in a restoration project I think the little buggers all cleared out.
There were people still in the church, including the bell ringer, so I didn’t want to tarry too long and get caught! I poked around for a bit, then finally posed for this
Another successful Dragon De-scaling accomplished! and so that makes notch #51 on the Scavenger Hunt!
I have a few more sites in store, so I’ll be back next week with some more public wickedness
Go see who else is being wicked here

Sir has asked who else is involved in the scavenger hunt; if you have a recent scavenger post you’d like to share, you can link here so He (and the rest of my readers, plus those involved in Wicked Wednesday) can see…

Wow, this may be my favorite one of your Scavenger Hunt posts so far; props for managing to take such a lovely image, and in a bell tower at a church… you’re my hero
Awww… thanks!

As you should be! thank you
You have a very nice church. Love the spiral staircase.
Great shot of you too, very wicked.
You are clearly the last “naughty bat in the belfrey”!!! Love the pictures!!

Just this week I wondered if it would be very bad of me if I do Scavenger Hunt photos in a church. Seeing these convinced me. Church, here I come….
And I too will link some Scavenger Hunt posts

That is utterly fantastic
Woo! Page updated, with a new category.
xx Dee
Yaayy!! thank you Dee
Oooh, how very bold. I do also like the top you’re wearing under your jacket.
We’d say a church is indeed very wicked! You might be amused to learn that as we looked at the third picture I said, “It’s nice that they have a foos ball table for the priests to play.” As you can imagine, I’m not much of a churchgoer.

The blasphemy of all this makes me smile, I must say.

Bravo. You get great shots in some very risky places. This may be one of your best.
