Sinful Sunday: Backstage Fun

On Sinful Sunday, it’s all about the image :)

I mentioned last week that I would be doing my annual backstage tech role for the Spring theatre production, directing crew on stage left and handling the scene drops, and hinted that there might be pictures.  As heinous as my clinical load was this past week plus the pressure Hell (Tech) Week brings, I could not help being naughty…

These ropes have so much potential!  How I wanted to just lash myself to them, suspend myself from them, but the 200-odd people about who could possibly catch me in the act put me off just a little.  Still, I threatened one young gentleman on my crew that if he failed at the tasks I set him I would string him by his toes from the drop ropes and he actually seemed interested… maybe there is some domme in me after all ;)

I also found some scavenger opportunities!  Not sure how Dee wants to classify these and whether they’d be one notch or two, but the labels would be “stage scenery/scene drop” and “main theatre curtain”…

I also found a couple other scavenger opportunities (the production was held at the local high school, which is rife with possibilities, I could do a whole series here if I got brave) that I will show y’all in the future…
